Difficulties of launching a hookah community
We just launched our new Facebook page at http://facebook.com.au/ozhookah.
Our goal for this page is to build a community of people who love to smoke hookah in Australia.
The difficulty has been that Facebook doesn’t allow us to advertise and promote the page. They classify hookahs in the same class as bongs and tobacco. That also goes for Google, Yahoo, etc.
We find this weird and frustrating because:
- Hookah is legal.
- We don’t sell tobacco related products.
- We only want to promote the page to people who have shown an interest in hookahs.
But what can you do.
That’s why we rely on you. Our website visitors and community members.
Please tell any of your friends who you think would be interested and lets actually build this community.
